We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Import and Export Logistics Officer

Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

Logistics tracking of import and export goods, document preparation, and customs clearance coordination.
Prepare various import documents for raw materials to ensure compliance with Nigerian customs requirements.
Assist in preparing export documents for finished goods and coordinate with freight forwarders to complete booking.
Coordinate land transportation from the factory to the port, track the in-transit status of goods, and handle claims for damaged or lost goods (coordinate with insurance companies).
Ensure import and export logistics comply with free trade zone and Nigerian customs regulations.
Handle logistics abnormalities (such as customs clearance delays, shipping schedule changes, etc.), report to department leaders in a timely manner, and assist in formulating solutions.
Track the ocean shipping progress of raw materials (via the shipping company's official website/freight forwarder feedback), notify the customs clearance agent to prepare materials 7 days before the estimated port arrival, and initiate customs clearance immediately after the goods arrive at the port.
