International Exploration and Production Company Vacancies for Drilling Engineers in Nigeria

Edwin Drake is currently collaborating with an Independent E&P organisation with vast asset portfolio comprising of both Operated as well as Non-Operated assets, who are seeking to identify a highly experienced Drilling Engineer with a good balance between field based experience and office based experience.


We are recruiting to fill the position of:

Job Title: Drilling Engineer

Location: Nigeria

Responsibilities

• Ability to deliver detailed Wells Design, prepare authority for expenditure for the wells and actively be involved in the executive of new wells either offshore or onshore.
• Monitor all phases of well operations, carry out post executive analysis and analyse performance whilst documenting and troubleshooting problems and recommend improvement in performance to all phases of well delivery.
• Involved in all parts of wells contract tendering processes, including the detailed scope of work preparation for well services.
• Accountable for the timely deployment of well services, equipment and materials.
• Gather, organize, prepare and optimally use the information of various equipment specifications, technical publications and operating agreements.

• Relevant University degree in Drilling or Petroleum Engineering Extensive experience across Well Engineering within E&P environment.
• Previous experience of putting in place drilling programmes and well design and execution
• Proven experience within the application of drilling optimization techniques.
• Valid IWCF or IADC certificate.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Drilling Engineer preferably in Deepwater operations.
