  • VSO is looking for an exceptional leader to be our next Country Director in Nigeria
  • You’ll lead VSO Nigeria’s strong team of staff and volunteers as we go from strength to strength, building on our existing portfolio of programmes in secure livelihoods and inclusive education
  • As one of the VSO’s global team of senior leaders you will have plenty of scope to apply your passion, experience and skills to the challenge of bringing about the change we want to see both within Nigeria and beyond, and we will have correspondingly high expectations of what you will achieve.
Skills, Qualifications and Experience This opportunity will suit an experienced and entrepreneurial development leader looking for a stretching new challenge. The ideal candidate will have:
  • Excellent representational, networking and donor engagement skills and experience;
  • Successful experience of managing complex programmes and operations;
  • Energy, determination, and a commitment to VSO’s values and programming principles.
  • A passionate commitment to delivering evidence-based programming developed in partnership with primary actors;
  • Very strong leadership qualities, with the ability to inspire and support a diverse team of staff and volunteers;
