• The mechanical engineer will be responsible for
  • repairs
  • Troubleshooting
  • Servicing and overhauling
• • Disassembly, cleaning, reassembly Of marine engines (Caterpillar 3304 & 3412)

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to adhere to workplace rules
• Works closely with the engine repair department head and team members to carry out preventive maintenance and an annual maintenance program
• Strong ability to work independently and to respect the deadlines
• Keeps all necessary tools in good working condition, keep their workplace neat and clean
• Follow all safety rules and regulations in job, departmental procedures and instructions
• Flexible and team player – able to work on own initiative
• Ability to effectively communicate professionally in writing or verbally with all levels of personnel
• Minimum technical school graduate, OND or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an mechanical engineer with Caterpillar engines, preferably in the marine industry
• Ability to interact effectively with peers and supervisors
