Job Title: Junior Accountant

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
• Update account receivables and issue invoices.
• Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports.
• Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closing.
• Assist with other accounting projects.
• Prepare tax computation and returns.
• Monitor and resolve bank issues.
• Assist in the preparations and coordination of the audit process
• Update account payables and perform reconciliation.
• Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and the company’s accounting and financial guidelines.
• Assist in reviewing expenses.
• Update financial data in the database to ensure that into information will be accurate and immediately available when needed.

Requirements

• B.Sc, HND in accounting 
• Advanced MS Excel skills, including pivot tables.
• Experience with general ledger functions.
• Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in managing company books
• Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
• Hands-on experience with accounting software like FreshBooks and QuickBooks.

Salary
N200,000 - N300,000 Monthly.
