Job Title: Junior Accountant

Location: Agbara, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Accountant to join our Finance team.
• The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, excellent knowledge of accounting principles and hands-on experience with accounting software.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain financial records and reports.
• Post journal entries and reconcile accounts.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable functions.
• Ensure compliance with company financial policies and relevant accounting standards.
• Assist in internal and external audit processes.
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Support in budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Perform and other accounting duties as assigned.

Requirements

• B.Sc / HND in Accounting, Finance, or related field 
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in accounting or finance.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or Tally)
