Job Title: Junior Compliance Officer
Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• Support the implementation of new compliance technology.
• Research compliance updates, publications, and news to monitor industry trends and best practices.
• Assist with research, publications, management presentations, and special projects.
• Assist with the administration of the company’s code of conduct and internal investigations
• Conduct research and analysis to revise corporate policies.
• Work with Compliance officer on Employee & Management trainings.
• Perform compliance monitoring of transactions running on the system; including anti-money laundering and fraud operations.
• Assist with C2C and B2C customer onboarding and business process documentation
• Perform data analysis upon request.
• Liaise with customer service, internal audit and IT team to ensure compliance.
• Work well in teams and independently on tasks with direction from a supervisor.

Role Requirements

• Candidate should be a Bachelor's Degree in Law. 2;2 degree &above
• Exceptionally good at being key to detail.
• Posses good reading and research skill.
• Efficient with Cloud storage softwares- Share point & Drop box softwares.
• Possess the ability to learn and memorize quickly.
• Prioritize based on opportunities and effectively multitask.
• Good with basic computer functions
• Problem solving and effectively able to multitask.
• Age: Not older than 29.
• Excellent writing skill.
• Excellent communication skill- must be very sound.
• Preferably someone with Excel skill (Vlookups & Pivot Tables)-not compulsory.
• Efficient with other Ms office tools- Outlook, power point, including Adobe PDF etc.
