Busy Minds Consult - Our client, a leading Offshore Logistics company with an exponential growth plan is seeking the services of an experienced professional to fill the position below:     Job Title: Water Treatment Plant Operator Location: Lagos Island, Lagos Responsibilities

• Operate the water treatment plant and sewage treatment plant according to operational instructions.
• Assist plumbers with the supply of water to vessels as required.
• Assist plumbers when a second person is required.
• Carry out tasks where directed of a manual nature.
• Identify parts required for servicing and repair.
• Follow the direction and instructions given by supervisor and or line manager.
• Follow SHEQ policies and procedures.
• Carry out tasks diligently.
• Any other responsibility that may be assigned by your line manager.

• Trade Test 1,2,3/OND in Thermo-technology with 5 years’ experience in AC maintenance and repairs;
• A degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with 3 years’ experience in AC maintenance and repairs.

• Hands-on experience in working with carpentry materials.
• Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction.
• Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers etc.)
• Ability to read technical drawings.
• 5 years’ work experience carpentry industry.

• Read drawings and sketches to fully grasp requirements.
• Take measurements and calculate the size and amount of material needed.
• Cut, shape and smooth wood and other materials (e.g. fiberglass) according to measurements.
• Build window frames, doors, staircases and frame buildings by using raw materials or pre-constructed items.
• Lay out flooring, roofs or drywalls, ensuring they are leveled and compatible.
• Carve and assemble furniture, cabinets, shelves and other items and install them where designated.
• Inspect places and conduct repairs or maintenance.
• Build scaffolding and other construction structures.
• Undertakes Planned Maintenance tasks.
• Undertakes Reactive maintenance tasks.
• Identifies materials required for tasks.
• Assist in the identification of critical spares items.
• Follows SHEQ policies and procedures.
• Monitor contractor’s progress and standard of work.
• Liaises with the all department and the various contractors.
• Track the progress of works and the MDQ.
• Any other responsibility that may be assigned by your line manager.

• SSCE, Trade Test I,II,III

• Hands-on experience in working with carpentry materials.
• Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction.
• Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers etc.)
• Ability to read technical drawings.
• 5 years work experience carpentry industry.

• Proposed salary: N40,000/month.

• Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance tasks;
• Undertake response maintenance of refrigeration systems;
• Identify parts required for the servicing and repair of refrigeration systems;
• Undertake condition reports of the existing systems.
• Undertake Quality Assurance checks of material supplied to the company;
• Inspect and check the work delivered by Contractors.
• Identify critical stock items.
• Follows the direction and instructions given to them by supervisor and or line managers.
• Arranges access for suppliers and contractors to the base and its facilities.
• Maintenance Department and the various contractors.
• Supervises any junior team members.
• Any other responsibility that may be assigned by your line manager.
