Job Title: IT Security Engineer

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Contract

Responsibilities
An exciting opportunity exists for a dynamic and IT security engineer to join a dynamic project team for a 6 months project. The resource shall be responsible for the following:

  • Participate in the delivery cybersecurity through vulnerability and threat identification, incident detection and response, forensic investigations, Patch and Vulnerability Management. Engage with infrastructure and applications teams in mitigation and remediation efforts.
  • Engage with other IT units to establish and enforce security best practices, protection objectives and process improvements.
  • Review and make recommendations regarding on-premise, data centre and cloud infrastructure, networking and security settings and posture.
  • Create and maintain key metrics that are indicative of security posture of the infrastructure.
  • Keep abreast of threat intelligence feeds to stay abreast of industry reports and emerging threat that may affect

Functions

  • Lead cybersecurity initiatives in conjunction with Group Cybersecurity team.
  • Design and implement security controls to safeguard and monitor events for information systems, enterprise applications and data.
  • Lead the implementation of Information Security projects
  • Drive internal and external vulnerability assessment, penetration tests engagements and manage results to remediation.
  • Respond to escalated security events and drive security incident response processes to ensure timely resolution with minimal disruption.
  • Design, document, and deploy secure infrastructure solutions to enhance and evolve the security posture of the business to ensure integrity, availability and confidentiality of all critical enterprise data.
  • Provide expertise on security tools, including but not limited to firewalls, Web Application firewalls, IDS/IDP, anti-malware software
  • Liaise with stakeholders in respect of operational implementation of security policies and best practices
  • Prevent data loss and service interruptions by researching new technologies that will effectively protect the enterprise network.

Supervisory / Managerial Responsibilities

  • Ensure conformance to Cyber security Blueprint/Roadmap
  • Provide inputs to company strategic plan on all initiatives to ensure that Security gaps/vulnerabilities are identified & closed
  • Establish and ensure credibility through strong relationships, value-add to operations and professionalism

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in an area of Security specialisation; with experience working with others
  • Experience working in a Large organization and preferably in the Telecommunications industry
  • Strong background as an Engineer/Architect in application security infrastructure and various network technologies to include devices such as firewalls, VPN, intrusion/extrusion detection, vulnerability & risk assessment tools, encryption technologies, virus/worm/malware prevention, E-business and web application technologies, Data Loss Prevention, whole disk & device encryption solutions, two-factor authentication, common Windows (desktop & server) platforms,
  • Experience with Microsoft, Solaris, Unix, Oracle and MSSQL
  • Experience working in telecommunications industry
  • Managingnetworkand/ornetworksecurity
  • Knowledge should be current with information security best practices and global trends
  • Knowledge of security best practices such as; defense in-depth, least privileges, need-to-know, separation of duties, access controls, encryption

The right candidate will have:

Technical Skills:

  • Detail oriented, good analytical skill with an interest in investment banking and investment management.
  • This person will have experience working as an associate on corporate law, corporate finance and similar legal matters.
  • Preferably the candidate will have professional experience handling matters for corporate and investment banking clients.
  • The right candidate will have an interest in expanding their skill set and assuming increasing responsibility in investment banking and investment management and will be teachable, a quick learner.
  • Communication to senior executives will be a key part of this role, which would report to a Partner.

Responsibilities
Overall Strategic Leadership:

Requirements
Professional Expertise:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • At least 10 years working in a technological role
  • At least 4 years of managerial experience leading diverse teams of engineers
  • Experience building financial products is a plus
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and deploying products that reached over 300,000 users
  • Experience building business tools to enhance operations and efficiencies
  • Strong mobile/web architecture experience

Location: Lagos

Qualifications

  • 1st Class or 2nd Class Degree
  • 1-­3 years of professional experience in finance, accounting or banking.

Requirements

  • Detail oriented, good with numbers and competitive, the right candidate will have some experience with financial modeling and valuation, and will be good with presentation generation and analysis
  • This person will have advanced accounting skills and financial statement analysis abilities, and would have professional experience either with an investment bank or an accounting firm where they have formally learned how to evaluate financial information and how to present it.
  • The right candidate will be an expert in Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint, and will be teachable, and a quick learner. Communication to others will be a key part of this role, which requires collaboration and the ability to work in a team.

Job Title: Dealer Trader

Location: Lagos

Job Requirements
The right candidate will have:
Experience:

  • At least 2 years of experience trading bonds and bills, including primary and secondary market trading of treasury bills, sovereign bonds and corporate securities and instruments.

Required Skills:

  • Detail oriented, good with numbers and competitive, the right candidate will have some experience with financial modeling and valuation, and will be good with presentation generation and analysis.
  • Demonstrable experience and interaction with other dealers and traders in the market and demonstrated ability to keep tabs on prices and levels of security prices.
  • This person should be able to work closely with other treasury market dealers and investors and should be entrepreneurial, able to build relationships with others in the market, collating relevant information and experienced in executing trades.
  • This person should possess excellent research skills to help determine market sentiment via valuation and data analysis. This candidate should be conversant with FMDQ trading platforms, software and initiatives as well as being familiar with Bloomberg trading platform.
