• GreenMax is currently seeking to hire a Deputy Director to help manage our Africa transaction advisory practice.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in the clean energy sector, preferably with direct experience analyzing financial and commercial viability of renewable energy projects
• Track record in raising equity for small – medium scale clean energy projects, including negotiation of Joint Development Agreements between project sponsors and investors.
• Practical experience with the “project finance” approach of financing infrastructure projects, preferably with success closing at least one transaction and involvement with the negotiation of financing agreements
• French and/or Portuguese language skills are strongly desired.
• At least 3 years of experience working on projects in Emerging Markets similar to those in Sub Saharan Africa
• Proven ability to lead teams in the successful development of bankable projects, including managing feasibility study consultants, ESIAs, tariff applications, PPA negotiations and interface with EPC contractors.
