We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Legal Officer (Entry Level)

Location: Trans Amadi, Port Harcourt - Rivers
Reports To: Head of Legal

Job Scope

• The Legal Officer will provide legal support across the company’s operations, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, assisting with contract drafting and review, and supporting dispute resolution processes.
• This role is ideal for a recent graduate with 1–2 years of experience who is eager to grow their career in corporate law within the oil and gas industry.

Responsibilities

• Assist in drafting, reviewing, and managing contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and provide advice on regulatory and compliance matters.
• Liaise with external legal counsel, regulators, and stakeholders as required.
• Work closely with the Head of Legal to support internal and external legal issues.
• Stay updated on relevant laws, policies, and industry regulations.
• Support the company in managing disputes, claims, and litigation matters.
• Ensure compliance with corporate governance requirements and applicable laws.
• Maintain proper records of legal documents and correspondence.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) Degree from a recognized university.
• Nigerian Law School qualification (BL).
• 0 - 2 years of post-NYSC experience in a legal role, preferably in corporate/commercial law.

Salary
N200,000 per month.
