Job Title: Marketing Assistant

Location: Ibeju Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Summary

• We are looking to recruit Marketing Assistants to support the Marketing Manager in all marketing activities.
• These assistants will work directly under the supervision of the Marketing Manager.
• As a Marketing Assistant, you will assist in the planning, execution, and evaluation of marketing campaigns, promotions, and retail activations.
• This role requires someone who is proactive, organized, and eager to learn about the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry, especially in the hygiene product care space.

Responsibilities

• Assist in handling the company’s social media platforms.
• Grow social media followers weekly and meet agreed follower growth targets.
• Engage with customers online and offline, coordinate with retailers, vendors, and field teams to ensure effective execution of marketing activities.
• Work with the marketing team and contribute to brainstorming and campaign ideas.
• Submit reports to the Marketing Manager weekly as required.
• Monitor competitor activity and gather feedback from field and business partners (Key distributors, wholesalers and retailers).
• Collaborate with the sales team to align promotional efforts with sales goals.
• Join in market surveys and activities with the Marketing Manager.
• Follow up on marketing tasks assigned to them.

Requirements

• HND or BSc in Marketing or related field
• Must have up to 1 Year working experience in same role.
• Must have worked in the FMCG Industry Preferably Diaper & Sanitary Pad companies
• Excellent communication and analytical skills
• Ability to handle Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Youtube etc.
• Use of Canva (mandatory), Photoshop (added advantage) and Graphics Design
• Video Creation & Editing with the use of phone for social media
• Ability to write short articles for the company website, social media captions, and basic marketing texts.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Must reside within Ibeju-Lekki and it immediate environs
• The ideal candidate will be between the ages of 20 and 25 years of age.
