Job Title: Marketing Officer I

Reports to: Senior Marketing Officer

Main Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will conduct insightful market research to establish a marketing strategy that will effectively reach the target audience. They should be comfortable evaluating the marketing process, and work to critique and improve its outcomes.

Specific Responsibilities

Identify target audiences, objectives and desired outcomes of marketing campaigns;
Generating leads and conversion of leads to long term clients;
Research and develop marketing strategies, and evaluate success strategy;
Create and actualize digital marketing programs;
Direct sales, Negotiation with clients;
Cold calling to arrange meetings with potential clients;
Participate in all promotional activities;
Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information;
Keep records of all leads and contacts of clients and update such records as often as needed;
Participate in strategy, review and other meetings of the company.
Locate business opportunities by identifying prospects;
Maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance;
Researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements;
Staying up-to-date on current marketing trends;

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree or HND in Marketing, Mass Communication, Banking and Finance or related field;
Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in Asset Management/Financial Services Industry;
Strong analytical, and time-management skills;
Strong verbal and written communication skills;
Strategic thinking, high creativity and problem solving skills;
Excellent reporting skills;
High ethical standards and integrity;
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact and build relationships with all levels of management.
Experience with social media;
Excellent persuasive skills;
Proficiency in Microsoft Office;
Highly detail-oriented;
