As part of our expansion plans, we are interested in engaging highly motivated individual/ individuals to join our team in our various business ventures in the capacity below: Job Title: Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) Engineer Locations: Abuja, Kogi, Abia, Kaduna, Bauchi Full Time | Engineering Education, Knowledge and Experience

Working knowledge of plans, prints, specifications and schematics associated with trade
In-depth knowledge of mechanical, electrical and plumbing techniques including HVAC systems
Computer literate with knowledge of MS Office and software relevant to job functions
Possess excellent communication and organizational skills
B. Sc or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution
Minimum of 7 years practical post HND or BSc qualification experience with a at least 4 year’s experience managing large construction/commercial projects with the primary responsibility for mechanical/electrical installation

Job Roles and Responsibilities

Manage the day to day work of the MEP team
Review contractor’s installation method statements
Review contractor’s shop drawings against the design drawings for compliance
Review contractor’s mechanical shop drawings in conjunction with the structural and electrical engineers to ensure engineering coordination.
Review plans and specification according to plan
Manage and oversee work of subordinate staff, architects or engineers
Prepare plans, details, specified and cost estimates of plumbing, heating, ventilating,
air conditioning (HVAC) and general piping system
Provide technical advice regarding installation and maintenance of MEP System
Analyze MEP engineering problems and formulate solutions
Identify problems in design, plan, manage and deliver multiple projects
Plan, organize the review and evaluate the work of consultant, contractor and others
