Cometstar Manufacturing Company Limited is a member of Cometstar Group. It was incorporated in Nigeria on the 25th day of February, 2005 under Company & Allied Matters Act, 1990 of Federal Republic of Nigeria. Our company is wholly owned by Nigerians. We started production in April 2006 in our ultra-modern cable manufacturing factory located at Agbara Industrial Estate - about two kilometers from Badagry Expressway, Agbara, Ogun State, Nigeria.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Mechanical Engineer, Gas & Manufacturing Divisions

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Core Responsibilities

• Work as an on-site maintenance engineer, supporting efficient and reliable operation
• Direct, coordinate, advise and technically support and sustain asset integrity and reliability
• Develop continuous improvement solutions and formulate proposals by collecting, and analyzing information and data relative to operating requirements, economic considerations and other pertinent factors.

Education and Qualifications

• A B.Sc / B.Eng Degree / HND in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 4 years’ experience working with mechanical equipment, preferably in the gas or similar industry knowledge of engineering practices, economic principles, calculation methods, design and international codes, standards, and specifications
• Experience in maintenance, repair, spare parts, material specification and ordering, troubleshooting equipment trips and failures and managing small retrofit and new works activities, and using industry software
• The ideal candidate must be a creative problem-solver, analytical, and adaptable.
