We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Medical Laboratory Technician

Location: Ikorodu, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description & Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments.
• Receive, collect and analyze body fluids, including blood, urine etc.
• Execute laboratory testing according to standard procedures.
• Maintains patient confidence by keeping laboratory information confidential.
• Operate, calibrate and maintain equipment used in quantitative and qualitative laboratory procedures.
• Assist the Medical Laboratory Scientists in carrying out routine laboratory investigations.
• Record all data and results in specified forms (paper and electronic) with accuracy and responsibility.
• Ensure that all safety guidelines are always followed strictly and maintain a clean and orderly environment.

Qualifications and Experience

• Interested candidates should possess an OND qualification with 1-5 years experience
• A Medical Laboratory Technician licensed by the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN).
• Effective Laboratory Quality Management System skills
• Experience in operating electrical and non-electrical laboratory equipment.
• Effective Laboratory data management skills
• Must be able to run common medical tests.
• Have good knowledge of QHSE Systems, preventative measures, and laboratory best practice
• Proven experience as Medical Laboratory Technician.
• Must be Computer literate.
• He or she should be able to multi-task; capable of handling several issues at the same time to deliver results and meet desired deadlines.

Salary
N60,000 - N80,000 monthly depending on experience and skills
