Job Title: Monitoring And Evaluation (M&E) Officer

Location: Borno

Position Summary

  • The Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Officer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining a robust monitoring and evaluation system to track project progress and ensure quality reporting.
  • The incumbent will support data collection, analysis, reporting, and learning processes across project sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement project-specific M&E plans, tools, and indicators.
  • Support routine data collection and ensure data quality and accuracy.
  • Build the capacity of field staff on data collection and reporting.
  • Collaborate with program teams to document lessons learned and success stories.
  • Conduct field monitoring visits to assess project performance.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual progress reports.

Qualifications and  Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Economics, Public Health, Development Studies, or related field.
  • Excellent reporting and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in M&E roles within NGO or humanitarian settings.
  • Strong knowledge of data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, Kobo, or DHIS2).
