Cool Wazobia Nigeria Info is a renowned broadcasting station that specializes in all activities relating to broadcasting.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Newscaster

Location: Rivers

Job Summary

The Newscaster is responsible for analyzing and broadcasting news received from various sources.
He/she shall help examine news items of local, national, and international significance to determine selection or may be assigned news items for broadcast by editorial team.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

Ensure that late-breaking news/update from the editor is delivered during newscasts
Introduce news correspondents reporting on scene and ask them relevant questions
Responsible for fact-checking, presenting relevant information
Participate actively in the editorial meeting to set the agenda for the day
Collaborate with the news department to set news agenda for the day
Revise scripts and prepare to deliver on-air seamlessly

Education and Experience

B.Sc in Journalism, Communications or any relevant field.
At least 2 Years’ Proven work experience as a newscaster.
Excellent communication skills

Salary
N100,000 - N150,000 Monthly.
