The Nigeria Immigration Service released a statistical summary of applications to it's job openings earlier this year 2015
This informative and useful statistics will give you an idea of the total number of applicants who applied for the job vacancies. It also shows you a summary of job applications by gender and states in Nigeria.
With Imo having the highest number of applicants and the likes of Sokoto, Yobe, Gombe and Bayelsa having the least number of applicants.
Another baffling observation is the ratio of Completed applications to Uncompleted applications. Out of a total number of 1,171,977 applicants, only 645,219 were able to complete their applications.
I keep wondering why the remaining 526,758 couldn't complete theirs. Could it be as a result of network problems, insufficient knowledge of the application process or sheer laziness?
