Job Description

• The Compliance Officer is responsible for the development and implementation of compliance programs for SITL and ensuring compliance with applicable rules and regulations, policies, guidelines, codes and laws. 
• Interpret regulations and laws that apply to the business and to provide information to business on how to comply. 
• Monitor continuous knowledge development regarding sectors’ rules, regulations, codes, laws, and best practices. 
• Assess regulatory framework and ensure that any new developments are implemented in the businesses

Qualifications

• First Degree in Law
• 5 - 7 years post-NYSC experience in Compliance Function
• Experience in Trust and supporting laws
• Masters, LLB is an added advantage
• Security and Exchange Commission (SEC) sponsorship is an added advantage
