Job Title: Petroleum Engineer

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• Responsible for deploying, configuring, and maintaining software applications in various environments. Their role involves collaborating with development teams to ensure smooth deployment processes, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing deployment pipelines.
• Additionally, create documentation, provide technical support, and implement automation tools to streamline deployment procedures.

Responsibilities

• Software and Model Creation.
• Axis Software Deployment on Local: Axis Software should run on a Local System
• Structured Query Language: Ability to Create, alter, and Drop Databases. Ability to Write transactional SQL queries. Ability to Link the Database to AXIS web application
• Software Deployment: Able to successfully deploy the AXIS Tool
• Database Management: Install, upgrade, and configure SQL server, manage database and recovery process.
• Deliver training services to clients.
• Technical Content: Number of reports written, or materials created as stipulated or required.
• Report Building: Able to Create Reports based on Clients' needs
• AXIS support: Solve Client's Problems or difficulties involving Axis usage
• IPM Support: Solve Clients Problems or difficulties involving IPM tool usage
• DOF Support: DOF Data Upload up to Date
• Perform other tasks assigned by the Line Manager

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Petroleum Engineering.
• Minimum Qualification: 2:1 degree or equivalent.
• Proficiency in programming languages and experience in software development for the oil and gas industry.
• Familiarity with reservoir simulation software and related technologies.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client engagement and training.
• Experience: At least 1 year in the Oil & Gas sector preferred; fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
• Solid understanding of petroleum engineering principles and practices.
