Job Title: Pharmacist

Location: Abraham Adesanya, Lekki - Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • We are seeking a qualified and patient focused Full Time Junior Pharmacist to support pharmaceutical services within the facility.
  • The Pharmacist will work under the supervision of the Head Pharmacist to ensure safe, effective, and patient centered medication management for residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately dispense and document medications in accordance with prescriptions, facility protocols, and regulatory standards.
  • Review medication charts to identify potential drug interactions, duplications, contraindications, and adverse drug reactions.
  • Assist with inventory management, stock monitoring, expiry tracking, and proper storage of medications.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential medication records and dispensing logs.
  • Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to support holistic patient care.
  • Escalate medication related concerns and incidents to the Head Pharmacist promptly.
  • Adhere strictly to Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN) regulations and Caring Habitat policies.
  • Provide drug information and medication counselling to patients, caregivers, and clinical staff as required.
  • Support medication reconciliation during patient admissions, transfers, and discharges.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm. D) from a recognized institution.
  • Strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and a patient-centered approach.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Candidates must reside within Lekki and environs.
  • Minimum of 1–2 years’ experience in hospital, clinical, or institutional pharmacy practice.
  • Knowledge of medication safety, pharmacotherapy, and patient counselling.
