We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Preform Production Operator

Locations: Benin, Edo
Department: Supply Chain

About the Role

• The Preform Production Operator plays a crucial role in the manufacturing process, particularly in a Preform manufacturing Plant.
• This position involves operating machinery that produces preforms, which are used in the bottling of our Products.

Key Responsibilities

• Machine Operation: Operate and monitor injection molding machines to produce high-quality preforms. Ensure that machines are set up correctly and function efficiently.
• Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections of preforms to ensure they meet specified quality standards. Identify and address any defects or inconsistencies in the production process.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate production logs, documenting quantities produced, machine performance, and any issues encountered during the production process.
• A Preform Production Operator is essential for ensuring efficient production and maintaining high-quality standards in the manufacturing process.
• Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on machinery to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance. Report on any mechanical issues to the maintenance team promptly.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Participate in safety training and promote a culture of safety among team members.

Requirements

• HND/BSc or equivalent qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Sound understanding and appreciation of maintenance and process operations.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions accurately.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience on high-speed production equipment.
• Computer Literate.
• Ability to demonstrate basic Technical, troubleshooting and Problem-solving skills.
