We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Procurement & Packaging Officer (PPO)

Locations: Abuja (FCT), Lagos & Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

Purchase of all farm produce and grocery items from orders.
Packaging of purchased items according to purchase requests and orders.
Acquire vendors/supplies of all possible farm produce and grocery items
Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other important data
Review and analyse all vendors/suppliers, supply, and price options
Develop plans for purchasing and packaging equipment, services, and supplies
Ensure that the products and supplies are high quality.
Securing of a logistics company for pickup and delivery of items to customers
Estimate and establish cost parameters and budgets for purchases
Create and maintain good relationships with vendors/suppliers/dispatch riders

Requirements

OND, HND, BSc. Degree or equivalent
Solid knowledge and understanding of procurement/purchasing processes, policy, and systems
1 - 2 years experience as a procurement officer or related position (Previous working experience in a Start-up is an added advantage)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and MANAGE TIME efficiently
Accurate and precise attention to detail
Ability to work well with management and staff at all levels.
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
Ability to analyse problems and bring up better solutions
Ability to negotiate, establish, and administer contracts with vendors
