We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Procurement & Packaging Officer (PPO)

Locations: Abuja (FCT), Lagos & Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• Purchase of all farm produce and grocery items from orders.
• Packaging of purchased items according to purchase requests and orders.
• Acquire vendors/supplies of all possible farm produce and grocery items
• Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other important data
• Review and analyse all vendors/suppliers, supply, and price options
• Develop plans for purchasing and packaging equipment, services, and supplies
• Ensure that the products and supplies are high quality.
• Securing of a logistics company for pickup and delivery of items to customers
• Estimate and establish cost parameters and budgets for purchases
• Create and maintain good relationships with vendors/suppliers/dispatch riders

Requirements

• OND, HND, BSc. Degree or equivalent
• Solid knowledge and understanding of procurement/purchasing processes, policy, and systems
• 1 - 2 years experience as a procurement officer or related position (Previous working experience in a Start-up is an added advantage)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and MANAGE TIME efficiently
• Accurate and precise attention to detail
• Ability to work well with management and staff at all levels.
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
• Ability to analyse problems and bring up better solutions
• Ability to negotiate, establish, and administer contracts with vendors
