We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Procurement / Purchasing Officer (Part-Time)

Location: Apapa, Lagos
Employment Type: Part-time

Responsibilities

• To find, secure and seal presentations with organizations
• To work with team of Consultants on projects
• To communicate properly on projects
• To perform any administrative and / or Logistics roles expected on a project
• Perform buying duties when necessary.
• Contact suppliers in order to schedule or expedite deliveries and to resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries, and other problems.
• Review requisition orders in order to verify accuracy, terminology, and specifications.
• Prepare, maintain, and review purchasing files, reports and price lists.
• Compare prices, specifications, and delivery dates in order to determine the best bid among potential suppliers.
• To ensure that project times are not wasted (i.e. reduce idle times on projects)
• Lead people and work well with people of different backgrounds and race
• Must be able to organize and put in place, all the logistics needed to ensure the actualization and successful presentation delivery.
• Respond to customer and supplier inquiries about order status, changes, or cancellations.

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Degree in any discipline is allowed
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Good analytical and strategic thinking skills
• Attention to detail.
• A year of experience in any role, in a corporate environment suffices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Educational Qualifications:

• A minimum of ND or NCE will be considered.

Salary
N80,000 - N150,000 / month.
