Job Description

• We are seeking qualified persons for the 5 Program Assistant positions in the following program areas:
  • Animal Welfare
  • Environmental Health
  • Conservation and Biodiversity
  • Food Safety, and
  • Food Security.
• The Program Assistants will provide technical support and assistance for each respective program areas including management of projects, research, fundraising, and stakeholder management.

Required Qualifications, Experience and Competencies

• BSc in course of study related to preferred program area. This will be strictly considered in the evaluation and shortlisting of candidates
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to establish and maintain effective working relations with team members, stakeholders, external collaborators, people in a multicultural, multi-interest, multi-ethnic environment 
• Must be detail-oriented and have the ability to multitask
• Proficiency and effectiveness in hybrid work mode.
• 2 years of productive working experience within the preferred program area
• Great conceptual, analytical and innovative problem-solving ability
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Grant writing ability will be considered a strong added advantage
