Job Title: Business Development Officer

Location: Festac, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Description

• The Business Development Officer is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and driving company growth through strategic sales initiatives.
• The role involves market research, lead generation, proposal development, and closing deals to increase revenue and market presence.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities through market research and networking
• Generate leads, follow up on prospects, and convert them into active clients
• Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to support business growth
• Negotiate contracts and close sales deals in line with company objectives
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions
• Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and partners
• Prepare business proposals, presentations, and sales pitches
• Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competitors, and customer needs

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools
• Good understanding of the local market and customer behavior
• Proven experience in business development, sales, or marketing (preferred)
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

Salary
N150,000 - N200,000 / month.
