Job Title: Purchasing Officer

Location: Odogunyan, Ikorodu - Lagos

Reports To: Head of Comercial

Job Summary

• We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchasing Officer to manage procurement activities within our organization.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services necessary for operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery time.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with vendors and suppliers.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, supplier information, and product performance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procurement regulations, and ethical standards.
• Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal departments to forecast procurement needs.
• Ensure timely delivery of goods and resolve any issues related to delays, damages, or shortages.

Qualifications and Requirements

• BSc / HND qualification in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• 2 - 7 years proven experience as a Purchasing Officer, Procurement Officer, or similar role.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
