Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) Officer at Oildata Wireline Services

We utilize innovative, unconventional and bespoke methods essential for the fast track production of energy (oil and gas) from remote and mature fields located in Africa, the Middle East and South America.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) Officer

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001 and other relevant standards.
• Conduct internal quality audits and support external audits.
• Update HSE statistice boards, track collate and analyze QHSE data and indicators.
• Coordinate associate QHSE training, induction and certification.
• Conduct accident and incident investigation.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities and certification bodies to ensure validity of relevant certificates.
• Ensure the availability and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Ensure that quality procedures are communicated and adhered to by employees.
• Maintain programs and policies for monitoring and preventing chemical, physical and biohazards in the base, in other locations as well as to personnel
• Coordinate HSE meetings and collate HSE statistics
• Perform and track field/shop HSE audits, preventive action and follow up.

Qualifications

• Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor`s Degree / OND / HND qualification with 3 - 5 years work experience.
