Job Title: Radiographer / Sonographer

Location: Magodo Phase 2, Lagos

Job Description

• We are seeking a skilled and licensed Radiographer/Sonographer to join our hospital's imaging team.
• As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in producing high-quality diagnostic images, ensuring accurate results that inform patient diagnosis and treatment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain radiography and sonography equipment, adhering to strict safety and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of imaging procedures and results.
• Adhere to hospital policies, protocols, and radiography/sonography standards.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to optimize imaging services.
• Provide education and support to patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays,ultrasounds, and other modalities.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to interpret and prepare imaging results.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and dignity during imaging procedures.

Qualifications

• BSc / HND
• Valid licensure as a radiographer / sonographer.
• Minimum 2 years of experience.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient care skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in digital imaging software and technology.
• Strong understanding of radiography and sonography principles, techniques, and safety protocols.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced certification in radiography or sonography (e.g., RDMS, RDCS, RT(R)).
• Experience with picture archiving and communication systems (PACS).
• Knowledge of quality improvement methodologies.
• Location Requirement: Applicants must reside within or close to Magodo GRA Phase 2, Lagos, to ensure easy accessibility to our facility.
