Historically, we are positioned as the first commercially operated smart card manufacturing plant in sub-Saharan Africa with the ability to manufacture Poly-carbonate Cards amongst other card types.

Job Title: Relationship Manager, Public Sector & Special Project

Job Description

  • We are looking to recruit a Relationship Manager, Public Sector & Special Project. The successful candidate must be able to develop new business relationships, generate and negotiate new income for SecureID Limited to an agreed annual target in the form of invoiced revenue.
  • He is required to build market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business relationships.

Job Responsibilities

  • Actively and successfully manage the sales process, lead generation, credentials pitch, asking questions, solutions pitch, negotiation, deal closure and increase sales re-order.
  • Develop Annual business plan that supports Secure ID’s goals and business direction.
  • Effectively interact with other units/ departments including Corporate Communication & Marketing, Finance, Customer Services, Production, Supply Chain, IT, other business segment in Marketing i.e. (Banking, Digital Solution & Telecoms)
  • Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
  • Locates or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential partners, discovering, and exploring opportunities.
  • Screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential and financials, evaluating options, resolving internal priorities, recommending equity investments.
  • Plan and prepare Sales and Marketing presentations and proposals.
  • Lead bidding process and contract negotiations.
  • Liaise with relevant department internally to ensure statutory and regulatory documents are up to date for bid.
  • Communicate new product developments to agents and clients.
  • Close new business deals by coordinating requirements, developing, and negotiating contracts, integrating contract requirements with business operations.
  • Ensuring SecureID Limited remains proactive and responsive to prospective clients.
  • Responsibility for all associated Trade Accounts Receivables. Monitors A/R aging on a proactive basis, coordinates with the Finance Department.
  • Synergize with Customers Service to ensure our services are cutting edge and remains top notch.
  • Synergize with other Sales & Marketing Units for increase business.

Educational & Preofessional Requirements

  • B.Sc. Degree in Marketing or Business Management, a Master’s degree in a related field will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 10 years proven work experience
  • Must have a grasp of the industry and the local & international environment.
  • Proven record in a senior or managerial role Competencies & Skills
