Job Title: RF Engineer

Locations: Abuja and Lagos

Job Brief

• We are seeking an experienced RF Engineer to design, optimize, and maintain wireless radio networks.
• The ideal candidate will support network quality, coverage, and capacity goals through RF planning, analysis, and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and plan radio networks (2G/3G/4G/5G) to meet coverage and capacity targets.
• Conduct drive tests and analyze RF performance data.
• Recommend solutions for coverage gaps and performance issues.
• Collaborate with field teams and network operations during deployments and upgrades.
• Prepare RF-related reports and documentation.
• Optimize radio parameters to improve network quality and reduce interference.
• Perform frequency planning and site surveys.

Requirements

• Degree or HND in Electrical / Electronics, Telecommunications, or related field.
• Proficiency with RF tools (e.g., TEMS, Atoll, MapInfo, Actix).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• 2-5 years’ experience in RF planning and optimization.
• Knowledge of cellular technologies (GSM, WCDMA, LTE, 5G).
