We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Rigger

Location: Akwa Ibom

Responsibilities

• Inspect and set up rigging equipment (slings, shackles, chains, etc.) in compliance with safety standards.
• Secure loads and guide crane operators during lifting and placing of heavy materials.
• Coordinate with other crew members and communicate clearly during lifting operations.
• Identify and mitigate potential hazards on site.
• Report damaged or defective equipment immediately.
• Maintain tools and equipment in safe, clean, and working condition.
• Interpret load charts, lifting plans, and safety guidelines.
• Ensure proper balance, weight distribution, and attachment of loads.
• Perform pre-lift inspections and ensure equipment is in good working condition.
