Snowview Support Services Limited (SSSL) operates within the telecommunications and oil & gas sectors across Nigeria and Sub-Saharan Africa. In the telecommunications sector, SSSL provides BTS infrastructure services, including passive maintenance, BTS upgrades, and BTS acquisition/build projects. In the oil and gas sector, the company is actively involved in the procurement and supply of production chemicals, drilling fluids, equipment, materials, and the provision of laboratory services.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Rigger

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Responsibilities

• Install, align, and secure antennas, radio units, and other telecom equipment on towers and rooftops.
• Perform rigging works including cable routing, hoisting, lifting, and mounting of equipment.
• Assist in tower erection, reinforcement, and structural modifications.
• Participate in site surveys and assessments prior to rigging activities.
• Ensure accurate documentation of rigging activities, including work completion reports and checklists.
• Support the integration and testing of equipment as directed by engineers or supervisors.
• Work collaboratively with engineers, rigging teams, and project supervisors.
• Report site challenges, risks, and progress to supervisors promptly.
• Assist in training new riggers or junior team members when required.
• Conduct routine checks, maintenance, and troubleshooting of installed equipment.
• Follow all Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) procedures while working at heights and on-site.
• Ensure proper use of fall protection equipment, tools, and lifting gear.
• Comply with company, client, and regulatory safety standards.

Requirements

• B.Eng./B.Sc. in Electrical or Electronic Engineering. Minimum qualification of SSCE, OND, or Trade Test Certificate will also be considered.
• Proven track record in managing site build, tower erection, and civil upgrade projects.
• Knowledge of telecom equipment (antennas, microwave dishes, BTS, fiber, etc.).
• Physically fit and medically certified for work at height.
• Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
• Certification in Rigging, Work at Height, and Tower climbing (mandatory).
• Minimum of 2–4 years' experience in telecommunication rigging, tower climbing, and equipment installation.
