Job Title: Sales Manager (South-South Nigeria)

Description

  • We are seeking to recruit a Sales Manager for our client in the Nigerian Oil & gas sector.
  • As a Sales Manager, you would be responsible for managing new and existing client relationships, driving sales growth and developing business opportunities within the South-South region of Nigeria.
  • The ideal candidate will be someone who is experienced, self-motivated, and adaptable.
  • You will have the opportunity to work with an established team of professionals who are passionate about driving sales and providing values.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth in the South-South region of Nigeria
  • Engage in market research to identify emerging trends and competitor activities
  • Represent the organization at industry exhibitions and events that can drive sales
  • Manage a team of sales representatives within the region
  • Work collaboratively with other departments within the company to achieve overall company objectives
  • Maintain and grow existing relationships with clients while identifying new business opportunities
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute effective marketing campaigns
  • Provide detailed reports on sales and marketing activities and performance to senior management

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Ability to think strategically and solve complex problems
  • Willingness to travel within the Southsouth region of Nigeria.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales or business development roles, 5 of which should be in the Oil & gas, FMCG or Logistics industry
  • A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and managing sales teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
