Job Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer

Location: Kano 
Employment Type: Full-time

Role Summary

• We are looking for a highly skilled senior mechanical engineer with vast knowledge and experience to join our team.
• The senior mechanical engineer will be responsible for designing, developing and testing mechanical systems and components.
• This role requires a strong technical background, creative problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Reponsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical systems and components in accordance with project requirements.
• Prototype and test mechanical systems to evaluate performance and reliability.
• Provide technical support during the manufacturing and assembly process.
• Conduct feasibility studies and analyze technical specifications to determine project feasibility.
• Create detailed drawings and schematics using CAD software.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree of HND in Mechanical Engineering
• 10-15 years of experience in mechanical engineering roles, preferably in the textile industry.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials
• Familiarity with regulatory standards and codes
• Knowledge of machine spare parts and the ability to source in the market.
• Preferably between the ages of 35-55 years.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
