• Design and implementation of mechanical projects; responsibility for the quality, cost and time
• Definition of design criteria and standards

• Elaborate a design of production facilities
• Elaborate or review bid documents and technical specifications
• Evaluate tenders and select suppliers
• Negotiate contracts
• Follow-up and coordinate suppliers and construction work
• Participate in commissioning and performance tests
• Support and consult cement plants in the field of mechanical engineering for plant optimization and keep
• record and update technical documentation, drawings with CAD systems
• Participation in internal projects and improvement initiatives

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
• Minimum 10 years professional experience in the field of mechanical engineering and project management in the cement industry
• Good investment market pricing knowledge and cost awareness
• Demonstrated experience in leadership and project management, as well as problem solving
• Multicultural experience and understanding
• Experience of handling projects in Africa
• Willingness to extensively travel abroad
• Fluent in English, knowledge of other languages is an asset
