Senior Plant Manager and Metallurgist in a Tin Exploration and Production Company

Kusamotu & Kusamotu - Our client, a Plateau State based Exploration and Production Company focused on tin mining, processing and smelting is recruiting suitably qualified candidates to fill the following positions:

Job Title: Senior Plant Manager and Metallurgist

Location: Plateau
Position Type: Fixed term with competitive work roster

Key Responsibilities

• Operations and maintaining processing Plant through operations of Trommel Screen, Spiral Chutes and Shaking tables.
• Recommend appropriate follow up programs
• Prepare budgets as well as complete projects on budgets and within planned time frames.
• Write comprehensive reports on a scheduled basis for review by senior management.
• Operating an induction melting furnace for creating of alloy and tin bars.
• Training of staff in operations an maintenance of Plant.
• Perform any other related duties that may be assigned from time by supervisor.

Desired Skills & Experience

• A Degree in Chemical Engineering.
• A Degree or qualification in Science majoring in Metallurgy
• A minimum of five (5) years post qualification work experience preferably in tin and metals processing.
• Leadership experience and strong desire to coach and develop others.
