Job Title: Shift Technician

Location: Sagamu Interchange, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time
Department: Engineering (Electronics & Instrumentation)

About the Role

  • We are seeking an experienced shift technician to join our engineering team.
  • The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise in electrical systems, PLCs, instrumentation, and preventive maintenance, with proven experience in FMCG or manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot Siemens PLCs, drives, and industrial control systems.
  • Perform preventive, predictive, target-based, and breakdown maintenance activities.
  • Heaters & motors
  • Encoders & various sensors
  • Hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Ensure equipment uptime and reliability by implementing best maintenance practices.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime.
  • Maintain and repair various types of motors (AC, DC, SEMO), cranes, and forklifts.
  • Troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment such as:
  • PLCs & drives
  • Temperature & pressure sensors

Qualifications & Requirements

  • B.Sc. / B.Tech. / HND in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or Instrumentation.
  • 5 - 10 years’ experience in an FMCG or manufacturing environment.
  • Hands-on experience in preventive/predictive maintenance planning.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in shift operations and under minimal supervision.
  • Strong knowledge of Siemens PLCs, drives, and industrial automation systems.
  • Expertise in maintenance of motors and hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Salary
N300,000 - N400,000 monthly.
