Job Title: Site Safety Officer

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Contract

Overview

• A construction company needs the service of a Site Safety Officer for a two (2) month project.
• The Safety Officer will be responsible for faciliting compliance with Occupational Safety guidelines on site

Job Description

• Ensure workers practice safe working techniques
• Conduct assessment of possible risks and ensure preventative measures are taken
• Prepare reports on occurences and provide statistical information
• Inspect premises and the work of personnel to identify non conformity
• Ensure adhenrence with safety rule and regulation
• Implement and maintain health and safety standards
• Recommend appropriate protective equipment workers should wear while carrying out their tasks
• Carryout toolbox meeting, pep talk and induction.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years relevant experience as Safety Officer on Construction Site
• Must have ISPON Level 3 or other relevant certification
• Preferred canididate should be resident in Ikeja or its environ

Salary
N70,000 monthly.
