We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Social Media Intern

Location: Lagos

Key Responsibilities

• Help design and post social media content to promote EMPAN’s work and events.
• Support the planning and rollout of awareness campaigns and membership drives.
• Draft content for newsletters, press releases, and announcements.
• Monitor social media engagement and provide analytics-based suggestions.
• Assist in organizing EMPAN’s participation at conferences and virtual events.

General Tasks:

• Schedule meetings and prepare agendas.
• Take meeting notes and record action points.
• Help manage Google Drive and shared documents.
• Support special projects and day-to-day team activities.

Qualifications

• Studying or recently graduated in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field.
• Experience using social media professionally (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X).
• Familiarity with tools like Canva or Buffer is a plus.

Essentials:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Passionate about clean energy, electric mobility, or sustainability.
• Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks.
• Reliable internet access and access to a laptop or computer.
