We commenced training operations as Hands-on Institute of Information Technology (HiiT) on Monday, 15th April 1996, and we have graduated over 50,000 Students at our Training Centres across the Nation in the past 24 years.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Social Media Marketing Manager

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Purpose

  • The purpose of our S3M position is to develop Social Media Marketing Strategies and lead its execution to achieve the company’s Education / Training Services and Products online to achieve Management’s goals and objectives.

Key Accountabilities

  • Achieve Annual Management’s Social Media Marketing Goals and Objectives.
  • Create Social Media Marketing strategies and tactics- campaigns (including budget planning, content ideation, and implementation schedules to achieve S/N 1).
  • Create and circulate engaging written or graphic content in the form of e-newsletters, web pages, and blog content, or social media messages.
  • Research and monitor activities of our competitors and submit a monthly report to Management.
  • Ensure Brand consistency in our Social Media Marketing positioning by working with relevant internal and external teams/stakeholders.
  • Grow and expand company social media presence on new social media platforms, and grow the presence on existing platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Education- Minimum of First Degree (minimum of second class upper) in any field. MBA with specialization in Marketing is an advantage.
  • Experience- 2 years experience in Social Media Marketing
  • Industry- Service (EdTech, FinTech, Telecoms, Education, Insurance, etc). Age- Not more the 30years.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Personal Qualities skills- Passionate and Self-Motivated Personality with exemplar business mindset and attention to detail.
  • Performance Evidence- Clear evidence of achievements in Social Media Marketing in past in the last 2 years.
  • Emotional Intelligence- High social and negotiation skills.
  • ICT & social media skills- At least intermediate proficiency in MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint, and excellent Social Media Marketing (Must have active LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram & Facebook accounts).
  • Communication skills- Excellent written and verbal skills.
