We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Tally Clerk - Eastern Premier Feed Mill

Location: Calabar, Cross River

The Purpose of the Job

• Receives stores and distributes products within the warehouse, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all job functions.

The Duties

• Receives customer orders and write loading orders or requisitions to determine items to be moved for leading.
• Read customer orders and write loading orders or requisitions to determine items to be moved for loading.
• Ensure warehouse is accessible and safe for customer traffic.
• Record amounts of materials received or distributed.
• Weigh and count items for distribution within the plant to ensure conformance to company standards.
• Complete requisition forms to order suppliers from other departments.
• Prepare parcel for mailing.
• Move material and items from receiving or storage areas for loading.
• Start and place materials or items on pallets according to predetermined sequence such as type and product code.
• File orders and distribute items to designated route drivers.

Qualifications

• 5 O' level credits including Mathematics & English in not more than 2 sittings.

Experience:

• 2 years’ cognate experience.

The Person Must:

• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to organize warehouse and work area for orderliness.
• Possess good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Be able to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
• Pay attention to details.
