Job Title: Technical Manager (Data Center)

Qualifications

• BSc in Engineering, Information Systems or related field
• Practical knowledge of the operation of emergency power systems.
• Working knowledge of maintenance strategies emphasizing Planned and Preventative techniques.
• A minimum of 3 - 5 years of work experience in a critical engineering maintenance environment.
• Practical knowledge of Data Centre Systems and infrastructure.

Requirements:

• Ability to ensure that all plant, equipment and engineering Infrastructure within the Data Centre is properly operated and maintained.
• Ability to Investigate plant or equipment failure to establish root cause and recommend corrective actions, initiate corrective action where omissions or failures occur.
• Ability to manage supplier reactive and planned maintenance work to ensure that all work is carried out as per the work order.
• Ability to enforce compliance with all applicable regulations and standards with regards to the critical infrastructure within Data Centre environments.
• Ability to restrict and monitor access control into the Data Centre, establish and manage project scopes and schedules of the plant.
• Ability to support efforts and needs of the development and database/business intelligence teams.
• Ability to execute the planned maintenance programme strategy to ensure business continuity incurs minimum downtime develop and manage the Systems team, Update, maintain, enforce & control Data Centre policies.
