We are also distributors of L-ion ESEs Lightning Protection Devices. Energy Control Systems (West Africa) Limited was established in June 2014. We have our operating office situated in Lagos, Nigeria. Our clientele cuts across various segments including Residential, Manufacturing, Banking,  Telecommunication, Oil/Gas, Power, Utilities, Government & Non Governmental Bodies, and System Integrators. With almost 10 years of industry experience, we have distinguished ourselves as a foremost power quality, power surge, and lightning protection solutions provider.

Job Title: Technical Sales Engineer

Location: Lagos

Job Description

• We're seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Engineer to drive sales growth and provide technical expertise to customers.
• This is a full-time hybrid role for a Technical Sales Engineer based in Lagos, with some work-from-home flexibility.
• You will be responsible for generating sales leads, conducting technical presentations, providing technical support to clients, and collaborating with the sales team to meet revenue targets.
• This role also involves advising customers on technical solutions, preparing detailed sales reports, and contributing to product development based on customer feedback.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute technical sales strategies to drive revenue growth
• Provide technical pre-sales support, including product demonstrations, trials, and proof-of-concepts
• Conduct site surveys, assess customer needs, and provide technical solutions
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and new technologies
• Collaborate with sales teams to generate, identify and pursue new business opportunities
• Develop and deliver technical presentations, product training, and workshops

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or HND degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Proven experience in technical sales, pre-sales support, or a similar role (3 to 5years experience)
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets
• Work will require travelling
• Strong technical knowledge and expertise in selling Power Quality solutions such as UPS, Surge Protectors, Harmonic Filters, Power Factor Correction Equipment, Voltage Stabilizers etc.

Nice to Have

• Industry-specific certifications or training
• Experience with CRM software and sales tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Valid Driver's license

What We Offer
N300,000 to N500,000 and commission structure
