Job Title: Internal Auditor

Location: Ibadan, Oyo

Job Brief

  • We are looking for an objective Internal Auditor to add value and improve our operations by bringing a systematic and disciplined approach to the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes.
  • The successful candidate will possess a thorough knowledge of accounting procedures and a sound judgement.

Responsibilities

  • Perform and control the full audit cycle including risk management and control management over operations’ effectiveness, financial reliability and compliance with all applicable directives and regulations
  • Determine internal audit scope and develop annual plans
  • Obtain, analyse and evaluate accounting documentation, previous reports, data, flowcharts etc
  • Prepare and present reports that reflect audit’s results and document process
  • Act as an objective source of independent advice to ensure validity, legality and goal achievement
  • Identify loopholes and recommend risk aversion measures and cost savings
  • Maintain open communication with management and audit committee
  • Document process and prepare audit findings memorandum
  • Conduct follow up audits to monitor management’s interventions
  • Engage to continuous knowledge development regarding sector’s rules, regulations, best practices, tools, techniques and performance standards.

Requirements

  • B.Sc Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Membership of relevant professional bodies would be an added advantage.
  • Proven working experience as Internal Auditor or Senior Auditor
  • Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases
  • Ability to manipulate large amounts of data and to compile detailed reports
  • Proven knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, laws, rules and regulations
  • High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
  • Sound independent judgement.

 

 

Job Title: Company Secretary

Location: Ibadan, Oyo

Responsibilities

  • To ensure compliance of the provisions of Companies Law and rules made there-under and other statutes and policies of the company.
  • To ensure that business of the company is conducted in accordance with its objects as contained in its memorandum of association.
  • To ensure that affairs of the company are managed in accordance with its objects contained in the articles of association and the provisions of the Companies Law.
  • To prepare the agenda in consultation with the Chairman and the other documents for all the meetings of the board of directors.
  • To arrange with and to call and hold meetings of the board and to prepare a correct record of proceedings.
  • To attend the broad meetings in order to ensure that the legal requirements are fulfilled, and provide such information as are necessary.
  • To prepare, in consultation with the chairman, the agenda and other documents for the general meetings.
  • To arrange with the consultation of chairman the annual and extraordinary general meetings of the company and to attend such meetings in order to ensure compliance with the legal requirements and to make correct record thereof.
  • To carry out all matters concerned with the allotment of shares, and issuance of share certificates including maintenance of statutory share register and conducting the appropriate activities connected with share transfer.
  • To prepare, approve, sign and seal agreements leases, legal forms, and other official documents on the company's behalf, when authorised by the board of the directors or the executive responsible.
  • To advise, in conjunctions with the company’s solicitors, the chief executive or other executive, in respect of the legal matters, as required.
  • To engage legal advisors and defend the rights of the company in Courts of Law.
  • To have custody of the seal of the company.

Requirements

  • The successful candidate shall be a person holding a Bachelor's Degree from a recognised university.

Job Title: Computer Programmer

Job Title: Software Developer

Location: Ibadan, Oyo

Job Brief

  • We are looking for a Software Developer to build and implement functional programs. You will work with other Developers and Product Managers through out the software development life cycle.
  • Your goal will be to build efficient programs and systems that serve user needs.

Responsibilities

  • Work with developers to design algorithms and flowcharts
  • Produce clean, efficient code based on specifications
  • Integrate software components and third-party programs
  • Verify and deploy programs and systems
  • Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software
  • Gather and evaluate user feedback
  • Recommend and execute improvements
  • Create technical documentation for reference and reporting.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Software Developer, Software Engineer or similar role
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
  • Experience with software design and development in a test- driven environment

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate online or print publishing cycle and manage content areas
  • Set publication standards and establish goals and expectations
  • Suggest stories and generate headline ideas in alignment with targeted audience’s preferences
  • Oversee layout (artwork, design, photography) and check content for accuracy and errors
  • Proof-read, edit and improve stories or pieces
  • Recruit and manage writers and reporters
