We are recruiting to fill the position below:     Job Title: ICT and Operations Officer I Locations: Anambra and Ogun Reports to: Workshop Manager Main Function

  • The holder of the office will maintain  service development related to computer communication technology and systems’ automation as well as manage field operations for the office
Role and Task Complexities ICT 60%:
  • Identifying and acting on opportunities to improve and update software, systems and system security
  • Conducting regular system audits and software performance tuning
  • Assist in performing daily system monitoring, verifying integrity and availability of IT related resources
  • Researching new technologies and alternative methods of efficiency.
  • Write concise and consistent reports as directed by your supervisor
  • Email set-up, troubleshooting and management and server administration and management
  • Designing technical architecture to assist in simplifying and improve office processes as well as integrating systems and automating processes
  • Conducting regular system audits and running regular checks on network and data security
  • Any other tasks assigned by supervisor.
Operations 10%:
  • Assist in the management of field operations and delegate responsibility between the workshop manager and business research and administrative officer
  • Supervise Technicians and oversee various work tasks performed by technicians to ensure that customer demands are being met and all company regulations are being followed
  • Write concise and consistent reports on the flow of operations and all other aspects of the job specification as directed by your supervisor.
Bookkeeping 10%:
  • Purchase supplies and equipment as authorized by management and any supplier invoices in a timely manner
  • Conduct periodic reconciliations of all accounts to ensure their accuracy
  • Maintain the petty cash fund and record cash receipts and make bank deposits
  • Write concise and consistent reports as directed by your supervisor
  • Monitor debt levels and compliance with debt covenants
  • Pay any debt as it comes due for payment and issue invoices to customers
Admin 10%:
  • Facilitate communication between the core staff, the contract staff and customers or potential customers to optimize business results
  • Ensure that receivables are collected promptly
  • Write concise and consistent reports as directed by your supervisor
  • Provide clerical and administrative support to management as requested
  • Monitor office supply levels and reorder as necessary
Research 10%:
  • Review an research into information technology solutions that improve the business processes, making them faster and more cost effective
  • Identifying and assessing possible strategies to expand the currently existing operations structure
Experience
  • Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field
  • 3-5 years experience in relevant and related role
  • Experience in working in a fast-paced environment.
