Job Title: Human Resources Officer

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • The Human Resources Officer is responsible for managing the employee life cycle including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and compliance with company policies and labor laws.
  • The role ensures that HR practices support business objectives and promote a positive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding:

  • Prepare and post job vacancies.
  • Screen CVs, conduct interviews, and coordinate hiring.
  • Prepare offer letters and employment contracts.
  • Conduct employee orientation and onboarding.

Employee Relations:

  • Serve as a point of contact for staff HR issues.
  • Handle grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
  • Promote employee engagement and welfare.

HR Administration:

  • Maintain employee records and HR database.
  • Prepare HR reports (headcount, turnover, leave).
  • Manage leave, attendance, and staff documentation.

Compliance & Policy:

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
  • Update HR policies and employee handbook.
  • Support audits and regulatory requirements.

Performance Management:

  • Coordinate performance appraisals.
  • Support line managers in setting KPIs.
  • Identify training and development needs.

Training & Development:

  • Organize internal and external training programs.
  • Maintain training records.
  • Support career development plans.

Requirements

  • Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree with 2 - 5 years experience.

Salary
N150,000 monthly.
