We are recruiting to fill the position below:     Job Title: Offshore Technician Location: Lagos Job Description

• Completing technical reports with details of work carried out
• When onshore, being on call to go out at short notice to carry out a repair job on a rig, platform or drill ship
• Comply with all safety policies and procedures
• Accurate and timely completion of all documentation required for work performed offshore, installing new equipment and testing it afterwards
• Find fault and carrying out routine repairs
• Maintaining and modifying existing equipment
• Interpreting and working from technical drawings
• Work with mechanical and hydraulic equipment such as high pressure pumps, hand tools and specialized mechanical tooling
• Take part in risk assessments

• Top Tier Engineering degree
• Inspection Qualifications:
  • Physical Inspections (with use of IS camera)
  • NDT Inspections
• Installation Qualifications:
  • Assembly of stainless steel cable trays, cable ladders, structural steel supports on FPSO (using bolt fasteners)
  • Cold cutting
  • Hot bolting
  • All offshore Certificates (BOSIET with EBS pressurized, OSP…)
• Ability to carry our Business Development for the company when not going offshore on the above stated requirements
• Proven track record of successfully in Nigeria and any other countries
• Proven experience with IOC in Nigeria.
• Target driven and results focused individual.
• Extensive industry experience and knowledge of the target market.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in the ioc industrial environment.
• Strong communication and analytical skills are necessary for a range of complex internal and external negotiations
