The Foundation for Advancement of Child Education and Youth Empowerment (FACEYOUTH) is a grassroot inspired charitable organization committed to improving the lives of disadvantaged children and youths in Scotland and Overseas, through various programmes and initiatives: poverty alleviation, promotion and support of quality education and wellbeing for the disadvantaged child, as well as promotion and provision of vocational and skills acquisition programmes for the empowerment of youths.

Job Description

• We are seeking a passionate and skilled Web Administrator/Social Media Manager to join our team and help us in our mission to improve child education and empower youth.
• In this role, you will be responsible for managing our organization's website and social media presence.

Responsibilities
Website Management:

• Maintain and update the organization's website to ensure it is current and user-friendly.
• Collaborate with the team to create and upload content, including news, events, and reports.
• Ensure the website's security and performance.

Social Media Management:

• Create and curate engaging content for various social media platforms
• Schedule and publish posts, and monitor engagement and performance.
• Respond to comments and messages from the community.

Content Creation:

• Develop compelling visual and written content to promote our mission and initiatives.
• Create graphics, videos, and articles that resonate with our target audience.

Community Engagement:

• Engage with the community and build a strong online presence for FACEYOUTH.
• Respond to inquiries and foster positive relationships with our supporters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Marketing, Communications, or Web Development).
• Graphic design and video editing skills are a plus.
• Passion for education and youth empowerment.
• Proven experience in web administration and social media management.
• Strong knowledge of web content management systems (e.g., WordPress) and social media platforms.
• Excellent writing and editing skills.
